Everybody I come across thinks that wars are fought for moral reasons. They think wars are fought over the issue of Right versus Wrong or Good versus Bad. At first this shocked me and I realised that indeed everyone has been conditioned to think like this. But I have read so much military history, that I know this is not the case. So if wars are not fought for moral reasons, then why are they fought? I discuss this along with related topics like the cost of war and the morality of war and the concept of a Just war versus an Unjust war.
