Communists were hard at work inside Portugal for a long time trying to overthrow the good Fascist government that was desperately holding on to their empire. Finally the communists won and Portugal's government and it's empire collapsed in 1974. This was a big disaster for Whites in Africa, especially for us whites in Rhodesia.
